Procedure - The moulding First of all I explained the plan and the theme to the children. According to that, drawings had to be made first. The children should develop ideas about how their animal reliefs were to look. For most of the children it is much easier to draw than to sculpture. In any case it is helpful to develop a sculptural idea on paper. Afterwards, each child got about 800 gram of sculpturing material; a clay plate and a small ball of clay, enough to create two to three reliefs.
